Independence Day Quiz.
20 of the 30 questions are actual questions on the US citizenship test.
10 are more "advanced"
I hate to admit it, but I only scored a 22 out of 30.

I had no clue on the number of amendments proposed by Congress that had not been ratified. (I knew of two definitely -- one of the original twelve, and the Equal Rights Amendment -- but couldn't name or count the others.) Got the rest right, though.

Got 28 on that one. Pretty good as American history is not a strong point. I guess I can stay.

27 for me. There's an amendment against importing liquor??

The eighteenth (Prohibition) amendment was an across-the-board ban that said, "The manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States and all territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for beverage purposes is hereby prohibited." But, even when the twenty-first amendment repealed the eighteenth amendment, it still contained a clause that said, "The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited." The operative phrase is "in violation of the laws thereof". As long as it's legal according to state law, there's no problem.
