Look at the Harness pools

$15,000 in WPS pool

$55,000 in Exacta Pool

$40,000 in Trifecta pool

They don't play WPS like the t-breds.... It's a whole different Math game when trying to Guesstimate exotics at the Harness Tracks.

Win ODDS are Damn near "throw outs" when betting exotics at Harness.

Only thing I can think of is there was about $150 in the exotic pool and you and some little old lady betting names split the pool....If there was 40k in the exotic pool, approx 428 winning tickets for a dollar.Doubt that, probably just a pitiful amount in the exotic pool.I find the pools get out of wack just like the Tbreds when you have an overwhelming favorite. The horse at 10-1 is actually the second choice, etc.Or maybe some drunk bet a 200 dollar xacta just the same way you did?Only things that comes to my mind.

$55,000 in the exacta pool?????? No way at Scioto..

You MAY get $10K in there, more likely $5-8..

At those tracks, you MUST make sure you check the tote and bet as late as you possibly can.

I bet Rosecroft, who has those types of pools and for each 15/1 over 10/1 that pays $80 exacta, you get a 5/2 over 3/1 paying $60.. So you really have to shop around for the best prices
