Not much in the way of advertising these days for MP but today is dollar day and I believe it is $1 for programs, the racing form, hot dogs, soda and a bunch of other things. The card is pretty solid and we have 3 in, so come out to MP today and enjoy a great day of racing as well as dollar day!

Knowing my luck at Monmouth, I'd leave with a dollar.

..... by selling the infield TV screen? Where'd it go ... and why? Is it coming back? (Titanic deck chairs, anyone?)

It was always a temporary thing. Before the Breeders' Cup, I'd never seen an infield tv there.

I don't know. Didn't get an explanation (and as usual the track says nothing). Just heard from "the inside" that it will be back.

Scuttlebutt on the apron was that whatever deal the track has to use it specifiies that it can/will be used elsewhere a few times during the meet.

Good. I had heard something like that too.

You think they might get something out in the press and on the website? I guess they don't realize how behind the times they were by not having one and how much the people like it. Typical.
