Just something very trivial I've been curious about for a while. Where it lists Current Users, there's this: Most users ever online was 1516, 12-07-2006 at 01:34 PM.

Is that accurate? If so, what might have been happening on a December Thursday afternoon that attracted so many people?

The Think Tank from the Right and the 4 Horsemen from the Left had a group hug and told each other that they were truly sorry.

It involved the Illuminati, the Trilateral Commission, the Freemasons, the Stonecutters, and the Learned Elders Of Zion. I'm not at liberty to disclose any more.

Good answers. :jump:

(Although Z posting selections for 12-06-06 seems more likely.)

To commemorate Pearl Harbor Day many of us posted bombs in the "selection" thread.

I think PA was fiddling with the automatic logout timer that day. It is now set at 1 hour. Note that a lot of "logged in users" are internet spiders, i.e. computers automatically searching the forums for items for google and yahoo and things like phone numbers for spammers etc.

Wasn't PA trying to make a point concerning some other site which showing a high "logged in users" figure..
