Track take

Does anyone know where I can find a list of track take outs by track? I found one for the TB tracks but I cant seem to find one for the SB tracks. Thanks.

I recently purchased a "Dr. Z" style computer program on ebay, it requires a track take out input. I was doing pretty well with it on the harness races by estimating the TO, maybe I can do better now!

Not trying to slight anyone who has previously posted on the takeout figures but as some folks came up with different numbers, I would lean towards those posted at the Odds On Racing site.

Those figures were likely obtained from Kimberly Rinker who not only helps maintain and writes for the Odds On site, she also works for the USTA and thus has access to accurate information.

Just a heads up.
Kim left the USTA in September of last year. A loss for all of harness racing.

Kim has her own blog, however with her immense activities she doesn't make regular addtions, when she does add something, it's generally quite good.

I wouldn't be so fast to lean towards all the takeout figures at the ODDSONRACING.COM site:

I see one glaring error at that site right now...i.e the takeout rates for NORTHLANDS PARK. I happened to visit this track in person on the last day of their harness meet just concluded, which was Sun. June 15/08. Right there in the track program for that day were the total takeout figures:

STRAIGHT BETS....16.4 %

All EXOTIC BETS....24.8 %

--So in conclusion, it helps to check out the facts and not to assume a particular website's takeout charts are 100 % accurate. Hope that helps.

I think there is probably another error in that track takeout chart at the ODDSONRACING.COM site...i.e.the MOHAWK RACEWAY takeout rate for superfectas....it is listed at 20 %. I find that hard to believe! MOHAWK RACEWAY'S superfecta takeout rate is likely the same one as listed for the WOODBINE harness races...i.e...26.3 %.
