I'll probably go against and look at Campbell and Sears, esp Sears if Badlands is any close to 4-1....of course I would be interested in what botster thinks as I'm very new to harness.

One HUGE factor to consider is that unlike Big Brown, Somebeach is NOT being asked to race at a distance that he is unfamiliar with. Another factor is that unlike Big Brown he will not worry about racing back "too soon" as s-bred racing does not have that problem. Still any horse can lose any race with very bad racing luck but Somebeach looks to be a winner by 3 or more. Not much of a betting race has I believe he will be 3/5 or lower.

The only way SBSW can lose is with a bad trip........like a speed dual.
There are lots of speed horses in the field........if Macdonell uses his horse too early........SBSW can get catch at the wire.

Ok
I will make it easy for everyone here, Big Brown beat at every corner, yep. I was 0-3 with BB and maybe if smart enough, I learned from it, that is yet to seen.
Now this time I'm riding Somebeachsomewhere for all he's worth, I just don't think he's anything like BB, now the money will be little, so any suggestions on how to make him pay, maybe single him in pick3 or 4's , or would 5-10 exacta's be profitable with him??
Please explain to me if I am wrong here, and if why?
Serioulsy, how else is there to make money on him, I truly feel he is that good, one for the ages, but, what do I know?

It's hard to tell yet if SBSW is one for the ages, he pace a good mile last week, you have to remember Niliator went in 1:49 as a 3 year old in 1985. Meadowlands pace will be a better test, and he still has 2 heat racing to face at the LBJ.
As far as making money, you do the same thing people did with BB, you box him with the longshots and hope he loses. If he wins you hope you had the right longshot boxed with him.

Hope He loses!!!! Thats a chilling thought just for making a buck.
If you only knew what goes on behind the scenes with the makings of a good racehorse you would'nt be saying that.
I sincerley hope he wins.

I hope he wins also. I'm driving 3.5 hours @ $4.00 plus a gallon to see him. Mohawk is one of my favorite tracks. So much better than Woodbine, at least for harness racing. Long day, but hopefully worth it...

Did you see me wave as the Bandwagon rode by?
I would bet against this horse in this spot, just my 2 cents.

What I don't know is why certain people I don't know keep insulting people they don't know? Why is that?
SBSW has been on my radar for awhile, as well should be, insulting people about it doesn't make sense, but if it makes you feel good , I survive it.

Somebeach sits in the first quarter then moves a super 2nd and 3rd quarter to blow them away while in "jog city" mode the last quarter. On to the Meadowlands Pace.

What a star!
I don't follow Mohawk, that morning line of 8-5 always seemed very wrong.
