Watching a HRTV show and to hear the commentators talk, no one knew who Alysheba was. "He wins the Derby as a tremendous shock!"

What was he second choice or third choice? Now the HPI commentators have lost the experienced staff and are just as incompetent as the TVG's. Thanks goodness for the mute button. These rookies don't know shit about racing but their writers are even worse.

As far as WEG/HPI goes, Elissa Blowe is very knowlegable and she is a decent handicapper. Jeff Bratt is pretty good too, so is Renee Kierans.
Bannon stated on Sunday he is nearing in on retirement. Couldn't happen fast enough. For around 35 years he has talked down (somewhat, thanks to his vocabulary) to the crowd and consistently picks favourites, and favourites that lose consistently to boot.
I'm sure he is a nice guy, but it will be a relief to stop hearing his voice and opinions.
I think he must have cashed a big ticket 35 years ago because he saw a great workout, and continues to he handicap horses by visually watching workouts and figuring out who is dropping the most in class.
I swear that in 30 plus years, he has learned nothing about handicapping.

Elissa Blowe has a great name.
She and Rene Kierens are the only ones left who know a thing about what they are talking about. The former has a very nice figure: notice the vitaligo on her hands.
