I saw that segment first time around. I thought I was watching Future Weapons.

Why it has not been deployed can only mean that some one is not going to let it be deployed because they'll lose money -- their ox will be gored.

I think they don't deploy it, because it changes the rules ............

It lets the cat out of the bag. BTW, you can kill with it. It has long been rumored that it is running at 10% power in the demonstrations. It can be turned up to kill..........just like ole Captain Kirk's Stun gun.

To die by this thing must be horrible. You are literally cooked alive

Just another in a long line of means of killing the evil doers.

Napalm
Thermobaric bombs
Bunker busters
Flame throwers
Mustard gas
Cluster bombs
Nukes

Ah, so many weapons, so little time to invent military abbreviations to reduce the true meaning of killing to a palatable shorthand.

Even Jim Kirk didn't brag about his photon torpedoes.

Is this high intensity microwave radiation? How could it be otherwise....and if it is, the long term effects of being zapped just once might be catastrophic.

It is very high frequency radio waves. These waves generate heat.

Here is a guy who is trying to kill cancer cells in a similar fashion........and his is working well so far

well at least it would give the guy a long term to worry about, unlike an IED or a bullet in the head.

No long term anymore.

they will be used in the field in the coming years.

makes too much sense not to.

the levels to drive one back should not be harmful i would think.
