What Is The Super Six Staking Strategy?

This staking strategy has been developed to achieve a few different things that are paramount to long term success. These include consistently striking winners on the higher level bets with more frequency and not necessarily at skinny prices. Bets are broken into groups of 6 bets with the same level stake applied to each bet to even effect of varying results across medium size sample groups of bets. Dependent upon the overall net result of each group of 6 bets stake per individual bet on the next group of 6 bets may either become lower, stay the same or increase. The stake level for each Bet group is advised when each group of 6 bets is issued under the Super Six Staking Strategy. A group of 6 bets may be started on one trading day and finished on the next trading day under the Super Six Staking Strategy.

Selections for Saturday posted soon.

BIG OL COUNTRY GAL (#4, 1/1) is entered at Prairie Meadows in Race 1, a 1 Mile 70 Yards Dirt $31684 ALLOWANCE, scheduled to run at 6:30 PM.
Notes: $30K - 2 May 08 - away well from a wide gate to land +1l clear and cross field to lead +1l upon settling after 80y, dictated pace as 2 slid up outside it -0.5l around the 1st bend, pace even middle stages with two stalking outside it on the front end, pace increasing into the bend stalkers coming off the bit, let down early stretch, extended with a strong action, quickly got clear, extended margin to 6l close home, eased last 50y, still strong on the line, gaps back through field, dictated but kept honest. clearly superior.
BLAZING BUDDHA (#2B, 7/2) is entered at Belmont Park in Race 5, a 6 Furlong Turf $46000 MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, scheduled to run at 3:07 PM.
Notes: $46K - 17 May 08 - Very slow out, settled at rear 14 lengths off lead, even pace, unsighted along the back, ridden along and improving around bend quickly, 4½ lengths off top of the stretch, hit the line strong, improves off this, wants further.
CLEVER THOUGHT (#7, 10/1) is entered at Monmouth Park in Race 2, a 1 1/16 Mile Dirt $37000 MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, scheduled to run at 1:19 PM.
Notes: $25K - 11 Apr 08 - Away well, 4 wide early then settled midfield 3 wide no cover 5 lengths off lead, same along back now 7 lengths off, improving wide out approaching turn, kept coming around bend to be 1.5 lengths off top of the stretch and 4 wide, battling on strong to line when squeezed out late to finish 1.5 lengths 3rd, was wide the trip and still coming at the finish, big effort and probably should of finished closer if not for a squeeze late.
ELEVEN GAGE (#5, 5/1) is entered at Prairie Meadows in Race 3, a 1 Mile 70 Yards Dirt $31684 ALLOWANCE, scheduled to run at 7:23 PM.
Notes: $30K - 3 May 08 - evenly away to settle 3 wide -4.5l from the leaders solid tempo into the 1st bend, pace slowed slightly thereafter and slid forward to sit 3 wide coleading outside 2 others, same middle stages, into bend started to increase pace and get clear of inside coleaders, straightened 2l clear, nice turn of foot to get 6l clear midstretch, held same margin to the line, still strong, clearly above these.
GALWAY COAST (#1, 8/1) is entered at Lone Star Park in Race 1, a 1 Mile Dirt $21000 MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, scheduled to run at 1:35 PM.
Notes: $24K - 11 Apr 08 - Away well, then drifting well back, no vision of runner along back, starting to improve approaching turn 6+ lengths off, weaving through field around bend still improving hands and heels, bumped top of stretch, settled to finished on well making good steady ground and still strong on line, showed no early speed and would appreciate further, never a winning hope, got too far back this distance, only one to make any significant ground.
GO GO SHOOT (#7, 2/1) is entered at Monmouth Park in Race 8 (Rumson S.), a 6 Furlong Dirt $70000 STAKES, scheduled to run at 4:14 PM.
Notes: $75KStk – evenly away then forward to settle +1l solo leader fastish tempo, two pressuring on its hammer soon after, one of those slipped up inside it forcing it off rail down the back, still leading fastish tempo +0.7l, tempo increasing down the back into the bend +1.2l traveling under a hold, straightened +2l, good turn of foot getting 3l clear midstretch, found again deep stretch, 4.5l clear, eased close home, won by 3.5l, did it at both ends, wont get much further than 6f though, specialist sprinter, capable of winning more on this.
ILLUSTRATER (#5, 6/1) is entered at Calder Race Course in Race 8, a 6 Furlong Dirt $10000 CLAIMING, scheduled to run at 3:58 PM.
Notes: $11K - 12 Apr 08 - Away well, settled handy 1.5l 3 wide no cover tempo good, dropped back to be 2 lengths off approaching turn, improving around bend 3-4 wide to be 0.5l off top stretch, driven along and took over passing the 1/8 pole, drew clear hands and heels for soft 5 length win, sat wide no cover on a good pace so plenty of merit in the win and was still strong on line.
MIKESLITTLEGIRL (#1, 12/1) is entered at Monmouth Park in Race 9 (Little Silver S.), a 1 Mile Turf $65000 STAKES, scheduled to run at 4:42 PM.
Notes: $65KStk - 12 Apr 08 - Jumped awkwardly and clear last early, ridden up down the back to sit fairly handy 1.5 lengths off but 3 wide no cover, kept improving 3 wide no cover around bend travelling ok, joined lead top of stretch, 3 horse duel to the 1/8 pole, 2 horse duel from there, battled on well to line until had enough final stages, wide run took it's tole and winner had the run of the race in the box seat, if jumps away well probably gets the box seat and wins from there, big run, likely improver on that effort.
PLATINUMPLUS (#1, 3/1) is entered at Monmouth Park in Race 4, a 1 1/16 Mile Turf $34000 MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, scheduled to run at 2:18 PM.
Notes: $42K - 19 Apr 08 - Away well, settled fairly handy along rail 3 lengths off even tempo, lost a little ground approaching turn pushed along, between runners around bend and held up, eased wider top of stretch for clear running 4.5 lengths off, ducked back to inside and hit the line strong hand and heels for ½ length 3rd, strong on line, can get further, has ability, hit line hard once fully clear.
PRIME OBSESSION (#5, 6/1) is entered at Belmont Park in Race 5, a 6 Furlong Turf $46000 MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, scheduled to run at 3:07 PM.
Notes: $46K - 15 May 08 - Slow out, settled back near the tail, improved around bend 2 wide, little room and checked early part of stretch, hit the line well once clear, too far back against pace, did best work late and strong on line, little luck, should of finished closer, gets further, one to follow.
SOLE OF THE CITY (#4, 5/2) is entered at Canterbury Park in Race 6 (Hoist Her Flag S.), a 6 Furlong Dirt $50000 STAKES, scheduled to run at 3:48 PM.
Notes: $50KStk - 3 May 08 - away well to sit outside coleader fastish tempo big gaps to 3rd through the early sdtages, same fastish tempo middle stages eyeballing outside coleader, started to get clear of inside coleader midbend and stariaghtened +1.5l on it, extended quickly getting 5l clear midtsretch, held sway 3.5l on the line as one came from off the pace to close margin slightly late, big gaps the rest, did it both ends, flying now, 3 on end.
TRIPPED THE LIGHT (#3, 5/2) is entered at Hollywood Park in Race 1, a 1 1/16 Mile Dirt $25000 MAIDEN CLAIMING, scheduled to run at 1:20 PM.
Notes: $16K - 7 May 08 - Evenly away, settled rail midfield 6+ lengths off even tempo, driven around bend and improving 2 wide, 5½ lengths off top of stretch as leader kicked, ran home well under whip, did best work late, was strong on line, can get further.
