Hey Joe,

Prices and winners are out of the blue here (EVD) tonight. Many low % connections are getting some barn money comming in both doors. Take a qwk look at the connections on the top 2 runners in the 5th.

NECAISE GARRETT and NECAISE ELLIOT C. are the listed trainers. ASHLEY AND JESSE PETERSON; JR. and PAUL NECAISE are the respective owners. Family reunion, maybe? Congrats to the Necaise folks on a nice score. I hope that you bet faithfully on your charges tonight.

I'm all in on this #5 Murph :ThmbUp:He was surely bet down for an overall lo rater. Why did you like him at that price?? Is that part of your tote action play strategy? I had him as 14 - 1 in that field.

Ya he is pretty much what I look for in my program, that is a horse that is played more than he normally should be and to me it's not a public play that brought him down. So I pretty much always look for underlays that are not done by the public in my interpretation of the toteboard action. I will say this...it's not always a horse that just gets played down but it's how they get get played down on my progressions and calculations of the minute by minute odds and money readings I do along with the exacta pool money reading as well.

BTW..I never look for overlays, I always want to know a horse has been or is being played by some serious money instead of trying to get a price because he's not being played like he should be. I guess I look at it the opposite way than most handicappers do as my philosophy is "Why is this horse being played" and my program is designed around that idea and I then look to see how hard or abnormally he is being played in the WPS and Exacta pools. From years and years of doing nothing but the toteboard I have developed a sense of what I guess you would call being able to read smart money sort of speak. That money can be owners, trainers or very good handicappers out there. To me all this handicapping by everyone only ends up in one place and thats the pools, so my program breaks everything down everytime there is a change in odds or money in the pools and it does in a progression from each change to each change. I just try to handicap everyones money comming in to the pools by how and when and how much it comes in.
