OK. I thought I'd take a stroll over to the BHO website to see if I could get a peek at the change that could be a comin. I started with "The Economy". Take a peek.

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/

Here's a piece of his "plan"

Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.

Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families: Obama will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit will completely eliminate income taxes for 10 million Americans.
Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans: Obama will dramatically simplify tax filings so that millions of Americans will be able to do their taxes in less than five minutes. Obama will ensure that the IRS uses the information it already gets from banks and employers to give taxpayers the option of pre-filled tax forms to verify, sign and return. Experts estimate that the Obama proposal will save Americans up to 200 million total hours of work and aggravation and up to $2 billion in tax preparer fees.

HUH? 150 million workers need tax relief? We don't have 150 million people filing tax returns. What does that tell you about the Obama plan? Read through the link.

I wonder what information the IRS gets from my bank? Unless I have a transaction that exceeds the limits for savings, interest, or such, my bank does not submit anything to the IRS.

What does BHO know that I don't?

Another misstatement that we are asked to take at face value?

Obama can't do math to well.
2006 data - scroll down to the state by state chart - I think 50 states might too many....a few are not carrying thier load.

This fool will have to let 15 million illegas into the coutnry to do what he wants to do! You would think wiht ears that big, he would have picked up some education in school.:lol::lol:

...its really kind of scary (at first) when the IRS guys are sitting in a car across the street from your house day and night. You would think that they would be able to get by with only one of them on your tail but not these guys - they got a great budget!

After a few weeks, we were waving on our way out to do our things and bringing them some real coffee in the morning - not that instant stuff, real Lavazza - never thought we were going to get rid of them - and they didn't even say thanks for the hospitality!

Really? I think we all knew that. I even said so in my rant.

Thanks for the heads up. No pun intended.

maybe they are working with the telco's on the phone tapping thingy to stop terrorism or something - might as well get some additional benefits by getting a two for one deal or something

Hey Boris...I figured it out.
Obama has a lot more tax payers to deal with because there are 57 states in his America!:lol::lol:

Really? I think we all knew that.

Judging only by the content of your post, I couldn't assume what you knew. About anything.

I would have assumed that anyone who knew that banks routinely report all sorts of hum drum info, wouldn't have posted this:

What does BHO know that I don't?

Another misstatement that we are asked to take at face value?

Are we to take your naivety at face value? Or a lame attempt at humor? Who knows. Who cares.

I'll retract that previous post. That was downright nasty of me. I apologize. No need for that.

It speaks volumes about this "articulate" brainiac whose gaffes are making Bush's pale by comparison! What do you expect from a guy who thinks there are 57 states in this country and doesn't have the first clue about what Memorial Day is all about. Harvard's finest to be sure!

What is a "working family?"

This orator, sends Mantras, in hypnotic tones, that are enrapturing the young.

In my opinion, all family's work, some better than others.

For those of you entranced by this man's Mesmerisings, wakey, wakey.

Well!, that certainly triggered a thoughtful exchange of ideas and comments, maybe Suff was right after all.

So, it looks like around 135Million tax returns as of 2006.

Ok, maybe he is projecting into his term a couple of years.
Maybe by then it is close to that 150 if the "worker" was really what they meant to say on the link.

Now, since you were checking the "change" , what is your opinion of the direction , excluding the 150million you fastenned on?

As to bank reporting and all that, wildly optimistic that all the data needed could be pulled into a pre-filled form from anywhere at this point.

As to what banks provide "on your behalf" you would be surprised and you may really be surprised to know you have no way to findout what and when the data is provided under pain of jail time for whomever revealed even the request or that a request was made.

Do you realize systems are setup even at most of the smallest banks to screen everything, everyone for fraud ,etc.
You would not imagine the amount of "things" being snooped at and no you don't have to be on a watch list.

limits don't really factor into the descision, lots of banks just report everything and let the IRS figure out what they want.
Bundling of small under limit w/d get reported as well.
recall Spitzer and his 800.00 w/d.
wires,etc. on and on.

Bush Derangement Disorder was pretty well documented as a leading cause of stupid posts by suffering liberals.

What I'm afraid I'm seeing amongst some conservatives are beginning indications of Obama Overreaction Syndrome. I can only hope it's a short lived illness.

Just not liking him for Prez because he is too liberal for your taste is enough.

He doesn't have to be an undercover Muslim Terrorist Pied Piper, plotting to install a chip in your head to feed your thoughts into an IRS database, and cede all lands east of the Mississippi to Iran, anymore than George Bush needed to be a Trilateral Skull and Bones Machiavellian Coke-head, intent on overthrowing Democracy and installing himself as Burger King and Undisputed World Champion Perch Angler.

Sometimes, things just ain't that interesting.

almost hysterical for some reason - yet when 'called' on it - saying that that is not the case...

I, though, would be upset if the Burger King (ing) came true - that alone could make me hysterical!

There is a chance he can win - but as I've asked in the past, what are you guys going to do when a Demo wins the WH after GWB centralized all that power in the office? That is what is scary for some - just thinking about Hillary and Bill gaining all that power was scary enough!

No one rules for thousands of years...

You're tripping over your "Richard" trying to explain his verbal projectile vomit. This crap is on his website, not quoted from some speech. He had every opportunity to research it and get it right. It should not need any explanation. He expects people like you to just say "cool", and move on.

As for the direction, looks like he wants to take us to socialist. I'm not in favor of that, and I don't believe the American people will elect a socialist to be President. If you go read through the link I posted, you will see he has little experience or clue. He's Moveon.org in a suit with big ears.

people like me ask questions of people like you looking to get a sensible reply.
what is the socialist direction from the section you linked to on the economy?
pls explain it to people like me so i can become an enlightened one such as yourself.

you reject the tax cuts or what exactly from the economy section you asked us to look at

do you think the idea of a one page tax form would be good or socialist leaning?

Oh, as I said and predicted months ago , I am voting for Mccain if he lives to the election and I still think he will win.
