Well, you know if they don't do this test that it will rain for the Breeder's Cup.

I have a synthetic, acid-free precipitation system I am willing to sell. Safety of the beasts is paramount and all that, dontcha know ? :jump:

Santa Anita was hit by about 2 inches of rain in a rare May storm, and no,the track did not drain properly, and yes,the track was closed to training due to the situation. This storm actually could be a fortunate break,as now the racing world knows that SA still has a drainage problem. Many SoCal trainers want a return to the old dirt track. The Aussies that put in synth surface #2 (or is it #3?) are returning soon.Meanwhile,BC is only 5 months away, and yes,it can and does rain in SoCal in October.
