Is the Youbet deal with the LA HBPA a precursor of more deals to come with horsemen and ADW's? It is clearly less than the 1/3 of gross as the THG did not recommend it, but also clearly for much more than the Tracknet offers. How long will it take for the PA horsemen to grab such a deal at Presque Isle? Anyone who is anyone knows 1/3 of gross is unworkable. But Tracknet's position is equally unworkable now. Youbet and LaD struck an agreeable deal. Now will others follow?

I can't believe that they are allowed to hush up the terms of the deal in light of what is going on right now in the industry.

For all the public knows, HBPA has a hard-on for Crapnet, but accepted terms identical to their's from YouBet.

Youbet is a public company. One would expect that the terms of the deal will be announced sooner than later.

Don't bet on disclosure of the details. Based on the secrecy so far, it wouldn't surprise me if the LAD horsemen signed an exclusive deal with TVG/Youbet.

Who cares? Screwing the players thru high takeout is their primary motivation supplemented by slots revenue for higher purses. More, more, more for them; less, less, less for the players. Divide and conquer is their strategy to keep more of the takeout for themselves. Never once have they mentioned the customer.
