just got done with the harness contest at TRACKCHAMPION. i fk'd everyuthing up in the 6th and cost myself first place- $300.

my fatal error came in the 6th race. watched the post parade and dubes horse looked real good but he was running away in the post parade. but i hit the #5 and submitted it anyways. then they showed him about 3 minutes to post and dube had him walking along the outside wall. his horse looked tired,couldnt even lift his legs up. so i got worried and looked at everyone positioned around me and noticed they all had the #1. so thinking i would play it safe i frkn changed it to the #1. i think i broke my desk watching the stretch run of that race. brutal!

Pete...I've done that in contests at DHC. Changed my pick in the last minute and watch my original pick cruise to an easy victory..It is brutal..

7th place. there was a big $2 difference between 3rd and 7th.

two of the regulars in the harness thread at TC hit the 9/1 in the last race and cruised on up from midpack to hit 1st and 2nd.
