View Full Version : RD&H - Anyone recall this wound treatment?

In the early- to mid-90s I used to have a jar of RD&H that worked wonders when a horse came in with a cut. It was like a clay bandaid. You'd scoop a bit out and apply it directly to the cleaned cut. The "clay" would harden and stay in place til you rinsed it and reapplied. Cuts healed fast with this stuff.

It wasn't just for cuts .. I remember the jar also mentioning cracked heels, and probably some other things, too.

I don't think it's available anymore, and I'm not even sure where it originally came from, as it was given to me, not purchased by me.

Does anyone know anything about RD&H????

Is there something similar on the market today?????

I'm not a fan of Furazone, and really only like Corona for occasionaly applying to hooves, not cuts.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!
