PID had $169K of off track handle and $26K of on track handle on Sunday's 8 race card. No major national ADW's were allowed to take the races beginning Sunday.

Good. May they go belly up and quickly.This from a fan of the racing surface there. Hoping everyone involved in this from the horsemen to the track execs suffers the way we the bettors suffer.

ADW/horsemen/track execs :ThmbDown::ThmbDown::ThmbDown:

A track actually going broke and closing due to greed would send an important message.
I hope it happens here.

I think the track was only an excuse for the casino in their case. The web page is all about the slots etc.

It's too bad. I like that surface.

The track is the means to the end of the slots casino. However, the handle number Sunday without the major ADW's was horrible.

According to Mountaineer Gaming's 10-K, Presque Isle generated more than $25 million in operating cash flow (EBITDA) in 2007. Sure isn't from the racing.

Total handle: $196k
Total purses: $178k

Without slots they would have to raise their takeout to 90.8% to break even, and that doesn't even include operating expenses.
