Regarding My Princess Jess, Tony Calo and I "HOPE ya HAD 'er."

Two huge efforts at Gulfstream, steadied both times, and closed into final 9/16ths fractions of 54 1/5 and 51 4/5 ( :jump: ). Now, four fillies scratched, plus one half of an entry, making it a two-filly race in a field of five. Namaste's Wish is at 3/5 ( ), and MPJ is at 7/1 !!

Sometimes it just works out, you know ?

I figured you were excited to see me in the winner's circle after the race.

Did they put the kibosh on these (http://www.youbet.com/playingtowin/)?

I wouldn't say that. But I'm not sure if we are going to do any. It's still up in the air.

What's it like to hang around BEL these days - Same crowd as you've always seen?

I love Belmont. I miss some of the faces of old but the core is there.

Like Slewis.

I note Slewis is, for lack of better terms, "of note". He posts smartly round these parts though is undercover to most of us.

I just re-watched that Pre-BC shoe with DS. Man, you cats ripped that up. Nice to see a couple of real trip mavens.

Blanket trip handicapping can be like asking someone the difference in shades of yellow and showing them 10 different shades, one at a time. In other words, not an easy task. You put it together as succinctly as anyone I've heard.

That discussion you and DS had was WAY over the heads of any casual fan and, more than likely, quite a bit over the heads of many here. I might be wrong. Good stuff in any event

Thanks. I know it was over Slewis's head.

Youbet was great to work with and I hope to do something with them in the future. We still may do something for the Belmont. I'll keep you posted.

jerker,

Hey, he's OUR geek, 'kay ? :jump:

chalkster,

Sorry ... spotty Internet access.

Hey, that horse at Belmont was at 39/1 at the 1/4 pole. He only paid off at 38/1. Can you believe these crooks ? :faint:
