View Full Version : A handicapping statement

To answer some questions.

When working with factors, such as speed, pace and class, I classify their results by race type, distance, surface, track condition, final odds and my odds line. I rank them and percentile them (better then or perhaps the same as gapping them) against all horses in the race.

While every “horse” may have his day, I attempt to have his true long term value.

It’s not just number crunching, it also involves finding the singular event(s) that best fits a predicted out come. Not one bet at a time, but hundreds.

But the best value is always short-term, ala handicapping.

We'll talk more on this.

I'm sure this guy will be out of here as soon as PA reads the board, Ralph.
I just sent in a complaint, as well.

So you're back? Just in time 2 compete for a spot on PA's
contest squad? I can't do it so I'm not trying, but maybe
You fffasstt & GameTheory & Lindsay (to mention 3) could
either try out for a spot or advise on a hot pick occasionally.
Our PA team --- whoever the 5 will be -- will need their skills
honed & ready to beat DRF & ESPN (especially these 2 teams
imho)--- but I've been to many of the other rooms & PA is
topS... "go PA Go" ......
