Just fooling around using bris data,I came up with this.
Big BROWN 111. A slight improvement over his last of 110
Eight Belles 106. 3 length improvement
Dennis Of Cork 103 4 length improvement from 2 starts back
Tale of Ekati ran identical as last
Recapturetheglory 4 length drop off

In terms of pace, I'm not sure the Derby was that much of a brutal scenario. There were three routes on the dirt at CD. Comparatively, the Derby was the fastest opening two furlongs, but remember, it's a straight shot. Maidens earlier in the card went a few hundredths of a second faster to the half, the Derby went moderately faster to three-quarters and then the maidens went fastest to the mile.

I don't do variants and all that jazz, but on a raw comparison, the Derby was actually a relatively sensible pace. Not too fast, not too slow.

Recapture the glory 95 7 lengths drop off
Colonel John 93 2 length drop
