Horses with one of the top three final figures have won 5 of 7 at CD thus far:
Race 1: 7 furlongs - 3rd best FF - chalk
Race 2: 6 furlongs - 4th best FF - $34.60
Race 3: 7 furlongs - terrible FF - chalk
Race 4: 8.5 furlongs - 2nd best FF - $9.40
Race 5: 7 furlongs - Best FF - $10.80
Race 6: 7.5 furlongs - 2nd best FF - $5.60
Race 8: 7 furlongs - 3rd best FF - $30

Colonel John
Bob Black Jack
Z Fortune
Denis of Cork

hmm... dowst named the final fraction the class fraction, or at least did so famously. i would not be surprised to see this in higher quality racing, or in competitive racing.
besides, when i used to play churchill, the profile was heavy on mid-pack runners, SP and P types. now, i only dabble there, but still find that bias prevalent when i do...

Are you and the Liar using "FF" the same way? Are "final figures" and "final fractions" the same? If not ... are the "final figures" to which you refer a full-race (beyeresque) figure?

I should clarify that I mean final fraction....or F3 ....
