nyra's website is slow and crashing making it difficult to place bets. it won't make it through the day i expect.

TwinSpires and many if not all of the AmericaTab-affiliated companies started crashing around 45 minutes to post of the Derby....I barely got my bets in at www.racelinebet.com (http://www.racelinebet.com) (another AmericaTab affiliate)....In hindsight, they should have stayed crashed....

NYRA Rewards actually had a good day yesterday. Got my bets in early and each time I logged on, I got right in and got what I needed.

When we couldn't get bets in online for the Derby, people I was with hopped in a car and went to OTB. Only to find out their systems were down too. What a mess.

I was hooked up to Phonebet and BetPad all day. Had problems with both, but it was much worse with BetPad.
Starnge how so many places went down.
One might think something was up, it horseracing's integrity were not beyond reproach.

Some one needs to call Oliver Stone.
this always happens on big race days... either AWD's need a bigger internet backbone in anticipation of the higher volume, or they are skimpin on technology...In light of transactions finalizing during the running of a race... maybe all the above.
