Hey Ray, your program is on to something......Is it a canned program or is it your own doing and creation.???

I am always interested in new tech.......care to share ?

best,

Johnny

The computer program is my own creation and to release the details of the method used would reduce it's effectiveness, so I can't share without hurting myself.

However, it is my intention to eventually give away a version which allows the user to select the type of races to he wants to play and create picks based on the same factors I'm using, but with personal preferences for importance of these factors and inputs for the logistics of the race (Calls at the half).

Back in February, I posted a link in this Forum to my Excel spreadsheet which works with TrackMaster PP data files and allows the user to generate an odds line based on factors they think are important. This was a fun spreadsheet which usually just picks chalk. Here are the links:

http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44426 (http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44426)
And the follow up
http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44586 (http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44586)

the spreadsheet is here
http://members.localnet.com/~rayschell/ (http://members.localnet.com/~rayschell/) 921 KB Zip file (r for reg, b for basic, p for platinum)

That spreadsheet is a stripped down version of what I'm using and is ok for displaying TM PP files.

I'm working on a way to get around the 1280x1024 screen resolution perhaps by making it a stand alone VB program and adding a way for the user to adjust some other factors. When finished, it will be very close to what I'm using, and with the right user settings, maybe better. :) But I'm months away from putting up a newer version.
