Strange how the Air Force Times is not afraid to tell it like it is?

"After learning that more than 17 veterans per month commit suicide while under the care of the Veterans Affairs Department, senators accused VA of withholding information about suicide rates and demanded the removal of its mental health chief."

He doesn't like Bush, and if he could, he'd blame Bush for the guy in "Full Metal Jacket" blowing out his brains.

Leave it up to the LEFT to find the negative. I swear Zil, Hcap and others spend their whole day scanning the Internet for ALL the negative stuff they can find. What a miserable life they must have. What must it be like to wake up every day with a dark cloud hanging over their head.

I agree with 46's motives for the post, but the problem is real.
Perhaps a few minutes of coverage onthe news instead of Lindsey Lohan or campaign nonsense might help.

Our local VA hospital suicide hotline is getting an average of 135 calls a day.
But I guess the candidates have more improtant things to do...like appear on wrestling. Of all of them, McCan't should be getting deluged with questions about treatment of our vets.
