What I'm showing here in BOLD BLACK are the averages of the BRIS 2f 4f 6f and Late Pace figures for the horse's last 10 races. Based on that (right or wrong), it appears the 2 horse POLITICAL MANEUVER has the early pace (86 and 92) but tires with a 69 late. The #3 horse STAR OF MADRAAR appears as though he would be behind early, but come on at the end. So, in a slow paced race, STAR OF MADRAAR would appear to be the favorite, but if POLITICAL MANEUVER takes off at his normal pace, he may tire START OF MADRAAR out and not get caught.

Am I reading this properly?

Are the numbers E1, E2, SR, LP?

DRF DAta Files (Single) don't have adjusted E1 E2. This was for a route race so the numbers are 4f and 6f numbers. I've learned a bit more about "turn" time and how to calculate it from the BRIS web site, but I don't know exactly what it tells me in the long run.

If a horse has a

or
BRIS Turn Time (route) = 6f Pace Rating - 4f Pace Rating

For example:
BRIS PACE TURN
E1 E2 ( E2 - E1 ) TIME
HORSE "A" 90 96 ( 96 - 90) = +6
HORSE "B" 92 96 ( 96 - 92) = +4
HORSE "C" 96 96 ( 96 - 96) = +0
HORSE "D" 100 100 (100 - 100) = +0

+6 "turn" do you still have to look at the Late pace to see if the strong finish horse can still pull it out? They say nothing about late pace on the BRIS FAQ
