Halo Najib a Halo's Image colt out of the Sword Dance mare Najibe's Wish, shippedfromGP to TP and has started working there. May be using the Lane's End next weekend a prep for the Blue Grass? He was 2nd last year in the GIII Iroquois at CD, 3rd this year in the Hutchenson GII, 1st at the Ocala Darley Sale Stakes. He broke his maiden at Kee last October. So he's won or placed on both dirt and Poly, and placed at CD. Has the breeding to go the 1 1/4. :cool:

I would be surprised to see him run in both the Lane's End and the Bluegrass three weeks later on April 12. If he were to win the Lane's End that would give him enough graded earnings (it's a $600K race) to secure a spot in the Derby.

He's never lost on synthetic surfaces and never won on dirt. This looks like the perfect spot for him.
