Kalookan Boss was hammered at the windows and went off as a co-favorite at less than two-to-one. The #5 was scratched, reducing the early speed in the race, and another speed horse, #3, had a bad break, leaving the #2 to inherit the lead and win at 7-1. That`s racing. Anything can and will happen. Horse sense is what a horse has that keeps him from betting on people. Handicapping is a humbling experience.
