Jones has brought several horses off layoffs to not only win, but win by daylight. I caught a maiden of his under this scenarior several weeks ago and he looks like he is still at it (see yesterdays 8th).

Some guys can get them to fire & fire off the bench in a big way, others either can't or won't. This guy certainly knows how to get it done.

JohnEarly in the FG meet most of his stock needed a race but ran big the 2nd time out. Just like Eight Belles. They were just in from Delaware then though.
