It haunted me for well over 2 minutes, but I finally came up with why CJ's new avatar of D. Wayne Lukas was creeping me out.....

Fans of the old "Land of the Lost" TV show will know immediately where I am coming from:

Come on man....am I the only one who grew up on Land of the Lost? That show was awesome!

But yeah, looking back on it now, it sure looks dated....

I heard of it but never watched it, but the video and that alien are cool. So they went down the waterfall by accident or stupidity, like rowing right over it, (were they all stoned), and thats how they would up in the Land of the Lost?

Funny, i was just talking about Land of The Lost witha friend about a week ago. Terrible fx but I loved the show. Your pic of the SleeStac brings many memories....how they would shoot their crossbows from 3 feet away and still miss, Enix the white sleestac, who knew how to work those colored stones in the pylons. Marshall, Will and Holly and chaka. At the same time, there was a cartoon called Valley of the Dinosaurs...anyone remember that one?

Just found it on Youtube

Harry Nilsson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Nilsson) chronologyThe Point! is a fable (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fable) by American (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States) songwriter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songwriter) and musician (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musician) Harry Nilsson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Nilsson) about a boy named Oblio, the only round-headed person in the Land of Point, where by law everyone and everything had to have a point.

"I was on acid and I looked at the trees and I realized that they all came to points, and the little branches came to points, and the houses came to point. I thought, 'Oh! Everything has a point, and if it doesn't, then there's a point to it.'" -- Harry Nilsson[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Point%21#_note-0)

There have been, so far, at least three different renditions of The Point!, each featuring songs written by Nilsson to accompany the story. There has been an animated (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animated) film (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film), an album (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Album), and a musical play (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_play).

You are going to get a chance to re-live it. Will Ferrell is going to put his usual unfunny crappy comedy to work on it. I am a big fan of the co-star though. She is the girl from "Pushing Daisies" Anna Friel
