I was hoping to single the #1 to kick it off because he's drawn the rail there which may help the case but fractions don't indicate he's faster than the #2 so I'm splitting this one up between this pair.

R#4:1,2
R#5:4,7,8
R#6:6
R#7:1,2
R#8:1
R#9: 4,6,7,10

$48.00

I think the make or break race is this lousy last. I think the #6 could upset here and didn't want to leave the #10 off either and kick myself going home.

This is nice.

$2 for $48: This is my thread play.

1,2 / 4,8,9 / 6 / 1,2 / 1 / 4,9

Just for kicks, below makes an interesting $8 ticket using the ones I left out.
5 / select 1 / 6 / 4,7 / 2 / 2,10

Put them all together for a 1,2,5 / 4,8,9 / 6 / 1,2,4,7 / 1,2 / 2,4,9,10 will cost $288 for $1. We could flip flop our single to the 8th race #1 or put him and a 3rd race second on the long or short ticket too.

Play all 3 tickets for $340 and hit this baby twice? spend a little more on the $8 ticket?

hmmmm I don't know, I'm going to have to look at this a bit closer now. Thanks guys and GL today.

2,4,6,9 - 4 - 6,7,9 - 1 - 1,3 - 4This is a bad single in the 7th race (4th leg).

Upon further analysis (reviewing tapes, deleting scatched data) I would opt to add SPURRIER, the #7.

I will make a stand in the first leg against the favorite #1 FERDI'S PRINCE, and drop the scratched #3 SONIC BOOM, in the 7th race. Singling Deep in the final two legs.

2,4,6,9 - 4 - 6,7,9 - 1,7 - 1 - 4

2,4,6,9 - 4 - 6,7,9 - 1,7 - 1 - 4With the scatch of the 4, ITS A WHOPPER, in the opening leg, my pick will default to the favorite, 1 FERDI'S PRINCE.

:bang: I GOT SHUT OUT ON this bet.
I was contemplating on singling a horse in the first and before I knew it the race was off.
If it hits it will be the biggest bad beat in history.

Brutal time for a stumble my friend…:bang:Hear that! :(

Compounded by my final decision to single instead of going 3 deep in the leg (including the 7 & 8), opting to spread in the 6th race where I seriously considered singling PURE DEVIL. In the final seconds, I zigged when I should have zagged, chosing not to second guess myself.

We'll see how the last two legs shake out, but it does have the makings of a bad beat story.

I cannot be on the right side of a dutrow, been that way all meeting. Shouldn't Ghost Dancing have walked away with this one?

Shouldn't Ghost Dancing have walked away with this one?
She did stumble Murph and then veered in as so many 1 boxes do when they get off poor.

Of course; Always easy after the fact, but no races at 2 and she was faster as a 3yo and had stopped developing…Couldn’t really leave the filly off serial tickets, but failing twice (now 3-times) under 2-1 coming in did hint she may have a hole in her.
