Strange problem logging on to Showviver

If I log on to the Santa Anita with Firefox (my usual browser) the Internet immediately freezes up on me. If I log on with I.E. it works perfectly. What the ...?

Many of the track websites lock up my Firefox browser. Sometimes the whole computer. Still using WIN98, maybe that's it.

Clear all cookies and temporary internet files. And restart computer. This might help.
