From both 1975 & 2006 when I saw Stones live (and appropriate for gamblers):

1) You Can't Always Get Want You Want

2) Tumbling Dice

3) Satisfaction

4) Happy -- especially if you cash for BALOONS!

Somone once told me they suspected that some members of The Stones took illicit drugs and therefore I never listened to them. Neil Sedaka had some catchy tunes though and he lived a clean life.

Lets spend the night together

something very real and honest in the vocals
love the passion and feel in the last few lines

My favorite was what Mick Jagger shouted when he saw that Hugh O'Brian had wrestled Dennis Weaver to the ground in a fight outside a Hollywood club: "Hey! Hugh! Get off of McCloud!"

Love In Vain wasn't bad either unless you have heard Robert Johnson.

So I search my Stones folder which has every LP they ever made to look up & play "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'?" Sure as shootin', 7 songs come up with can't in the title.

If You Can't Rock Me
I Absoluely, Positively, Can't Get No Satifaction
You Can't Catch Me
Can't You Hear Me Knockin'
Can't Be Seen
I Can't Be Satisfied
You Can't Always Get What You Want

Come on fellas, let's be more positive. Afterall, you're flush with loot and the kids need a positive message.

Bigmack, if positive floats your boat, try "Sparks Will Fly."

Mr. T - Darn shame, McFerrin had to be judged by that ho-hum offering as he had some fairly decent things to say musically.

RE: Stones - One wonders how the course of a generation could have been altered by the turn (and/or complete change) of a song that had any level of influence.

I Can't Get No Satisfaction, (But That Doesn't Mean You Can't Find Any)"
For my money, more uplifting to the listener. Wouldn't you say?

If You Can't Rock Me, (I'm Sure There's Someone Outhere For You)
Here again, a nice message to tell someone to "buzz off".

Little note ever went into Jagger's solo material but that LP he made at that great recording studio in the Bahama's was not bad. If you're an occasional sucker for schmultz, (and I am) park an ear or two:

Sympathy for the Devil is a great song. I love the version where the fight broke out. "Why are we fighting?".....(British accent just sounded so cool)!
