View Full Version : PEOPLE WITH THREE NAMES

Robert Goren

The Obama-McCain thing got me to wondering how many people are always most always refered by three names. I came up with a few actors who really don't count and three others. John Paul Jones, John Wesley Hardin and Henry Cabot Lodge. I would be interested to see how many more the board can come up with.

I'm in some shady company here, though having never considered the working list of those who are known by their three names.

I've been called by all three since birth. Its a Southern thing. Or so I believed.

I got a couple.

Alphabet Jones--as he's known all over central Kentucky and his farm, Walmac International. Legally, I believe its John T.L. Jones.

And then there's also the former governor of Kentucky, John Y. Brown who was married to former beauty queen, Phyllis George.
