A few plays I thought were worthwhile on the card today...
R#1 Oaklawn Park
First glance appears dead chalk but looking back at the pp lines
for the #1 Captain Above impressed off the shelf in an N2L race
with CV Gonzalez up back in June. Definitely the best price of what
could be a decent play. The obvious ones in here were the 3,5,6,8.
#4 Oaklawn Park
Contenders to me looked like the 1,4,7,9. The #9 Insureus is a firster I'm willing to take a shot with here. Good drills in this lackluster field and with the #7 going even money out of the Asmussen barn the exotics can still pay handily.
#7 Oaklawn Park
#4 Coral Stone appeared to have an excuse last out and I'll try this one again. I didn't see alot of talent in this bunch and the #1 and the #8 look to obvious. 10-1 m/l for Razo and Reinstedler looks very fair.
R#5 Turfway Park
#2 and #5 should be the wheels here but I thought the #1 Doc's Chance
might be better than expected on the rail. Should be an overlay after clipping
heels last out. Shows a 4f drill in 48.1 after last race.
#7 Turfway Park
The #7 horse in this race had a bit of a rough ending to his race last out - may look like a career type but I like the switch to Lebron and they will be chasing the #1 from the rail here from the getgo. Final time is competitive and 6-1 price is worth a stab here.
