I don't get some of these jockeys at delta, especially in routes, they waltz there horses out of the gates, fall 15 lengths behind, only to mount huge bids late just in time to nail 4th or 5th. Shouldn't someone tell them to get the horses closer to the pace, maybe 8 lengths off instead. Never seen so many tired horse hold 2nd and 3rd because the closers leave themselves with too much work to do.

Making a connector to the late leg #5 may be doable as he shows the best speed rating in the field from 3 races back. If we get any of the 3 we'll connect for at least 125%.

Crap - a decent payday down the toilet.
Trainer of the winner is a bit crafty. Hurricane City does not figure from his past 3 performances and looked like one who may not win a race ever. I don't care to lose my pik wagers to a runner like this because you have no way of knowing just how 'live' they are until they take the track. Burls caught him but he forgot to use my #5!

No excuses, my handicapping was fine, but I can't pick that one.
