If I hear another business person or politician use this phrase again, I'm going to have a fit (and I won't have long to wait.....)

AT THE END OF THE DAY.....

How many times are we going to have to hear this phrase uttered in public these days? It is getting unbearable....

If they ended the phrase with ,

"I will go away"

That would make my day!

"...the bottom line is...blah, blah, blah"

It's almost as bad as "The Fact of the Matter" or is the fact of the matter at the end of the day?

A Democrat quote, "The fact of the matter is that at the end of the day, the bottom line is, we suck".

On the other hand, maybe we should just "MOVE FORWARD".

Any use of the words 'synergy' or 'paradigm' is an automatic disqualifier from having the slightest clue about anything.

If someone uses BOTH in a sentence, i.e. "We must synchronize our synergies so as to effect a paradigm shift"...well, I am not a violent man, but I would vote 'Not Guilty' if I were on the jury trying whoever knocked them out!

I guess it's catchier than "Evolve."

Vote Obama, and after the tax cut is rolled back, and every other tax humanly (and inhumanly) imaginable is implemented, all you will have is:

Spare Change!

Here's the deal, we should draw a line in the sand on this phrase and, my friends, my fellow Americans, you are either with us or against us here.

A few more...

"Basically..."

"That said, ..."

"Grass Roots"

"Ecclectic"

and the ever present teenager ones:

"Like..."

"You know,"

How about a set of Bingo cards made up (like the "Buzzword Bingo TV commercial) with all the suggested key words and phrases in this thread, we each get one, start a pool, and score off the other posts?

When push comes to shove, and all the chips are on the table, it's Katie bar the door before the horse has left the barn, or else, you know, it is what it is.

You mean like "Let's grab the bull by the horns and chew the fat. Let's see who's all hat and no cattle."
