#4 best avg. late pace from BRIS 102..I use #9 instead as best late pace was 109 along with a pace profile that's been winning, as the track bias has been speed on the grass.:bang: :(

RECORD SANTA ANITA PICK 6 TICKET SOLD AT MEADOWLANDS
The lone winner of Santa Anita’s $3.1 million Pick 6 on Monday purchased his ticket at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

The $4,320 ticket yielded a $3,120,256 payout, a Santa Anita record. The winner netted $2,381,423 after federal and state taxes. He also cashed the $7,786 five-of-six consolation payout 24 times, for another $186,878.

A three-day carryover of $1,269,223 heading into the Monday Pick 6, combined with the $3,337,881 that was bet during the card, resulted in a total pool of $4,607,104. Santa Anita’s Pick 6 requires players to pick the winners of the final six races on the card.
The winner is a New York City resident and entrepreneur who wished to remain known only as “D.” He was, however, willing to discuss how he approached Santa Anita’s record Pick 6. His ticket was the following: (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10) with (1) with (4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12) with (1, 4, 5, 7, 9) with (3) with (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13).

It only takes 2 things to hit on that kind of ticket...a wad of cash and a set of balls to single 2 horses on a $4K punch. To the victor goes the spoils.

He bet $4300 on the Pick 6. If you bet that much and single the right horses, yes, of course someone could hit it.

I'm still waiting for your explanation of how the Drexel guys who bet in upstate New York were from New Jersey...

Please WB;

Given the BC fiasco and lord knows how many others it’s hard to fault your skepticism…but in this case the man is a known quantity who swings hard and often.

You had an excellent day capping and made a great run at it. Don’t disparage someone you don’t know who spent good money hitting it. This is a good player who works very hard…give him his due.

BTW: If Bejarano wins the 1st leg you might be doubting my ticket. :D

RR is right. The two singles were what I would call "Pretty good" singles. Both horses were on top in my handicapping and he went wide where he needed it.......and where I would anticipate somebody to take 5-8 horses. Looks like a good ticket to me. That covers 4 of the tough legs.........and he had plenty of coverage in the other legs. Things fell right for a 4k ticket. he deserves it. I am not a pik6 player myself........but I like to look at them as two pick 3's .......and no matter how you cut it........he cashed on a smart ticket. This ain't no 8 dollar lucky ticket like we have seen before. Those are the ones that make me wince...........
