I am about 90 miles from the mountian and thought for sure it would be running today.

track must be a mess there not going to run for another week at least, especially with rain expected tommorrow.

Have they installed Santa Anita's brand of poly? I thought dirt didn't do this. I seam to recall being told is all they had to is seal the the track and it was good to go!

I am six miles from the track. I will be going there tonight. I broke up snow and ice all day today. It was sunny today but it is below freezing every night. This is bad for the track and creates hard spots even thought they harrow the track all night long. When it warms up some the top gets muddy and slippery. Other spots get deep with mud and other spots are still hard. It is too dangerous to race.
