Does anyone know if Churchill Downs offers 10 cent supers in the Kentucky Derby?

Thanks!

Do they offer them anytime?

Anytime but the Derby. Or maybe the whole Oaks-Derby weekend. At least it's been that way in the past.

Makes sense to me as they have problems with long lines. Can you imagine having newbies and rookies in line trying to call out 20 or 30 ten cent wagers in front of you as you try to get a bet down?

How would you feel if you were one away from the window while they were loading and the guy in front was trying to figure out his cost for a 10 cent box?

I think I bet some on-line, I have to check my records at home to make sure.

hopefully not.

However they did do this for the BC in 2007 for the first time ever.

also - I believe the 10Cent plays have their place.

I wish they would put the player in mind :lol:and do something similar to the following.

10c/

ALL of the cheap tracks should have 10 cent sfc for most races.

Synthetic Graded Stakes = no 10cent sfc.

All other synthetic races should have 10cent superfectas in ALL fields greater than 8 entries in gate.

Major Tracks = 10c/ superfectas for all claiming races with greater than 8 entries in Gate.

Above all, the feature race at MAJOR TRACKS(not including synthetic) should never have a dime super.
