Race 2 of Aqueduct today the five horse Great Emperor should be an easy 2.10 for all you bridge jumpers. However if you are like me a $2 to $5 show bet on all the other 5 horses is in order. Elliott is aboard. He is also on the 7-5 morning line favorite of the first race Snare. You may loose only a few dollars but stand to make a small fortune if the horse goes down.

If this was just a poor choice of words…"Never mind" as Gilda Radner used to say…

If you meant it literally to paraphrase the great Harvey Pack…”May the horse “not” be with you”

Dan, the sad thing is that this probably was not just a poor choice of words. There are those who would love to see a horse go down just so they could cash a bet.

I think he meant "goes down" like in "goes down in defeat" not goes down, dead.

Unfortunately I don't think you are going to get that chance. With the sleet/rain storm that wen on and the downpours that continue now and for the rest of the day I believe Aqueduct won't be running

Great Emperor has the wrong energy profile...I would bet against him.

all for naught as it is cancelled.

So do you have reservations about saying "hope rider falls off but horse stays up?

huh no I just meant I hope he finished out of the money I don't want the horse to go down or the rider to fall off
