Nice picking. looks like a 11% flat bet profit and a 54% dutch profit...

Formula--since I have only been betting one horse per race please tell me how I could have turned an 11% flat bet profit into %54 dutch profit!!

Especial useful when playing long shots.

the amout of the wager is based on the odds being played

1/(odds+1)*100=bet amount

on a 10-1 horse you would bet $9.00.

when ever you win, you will collect $100.00

It means betting at the last possible moment.

Even then, afer the close of betting, the odds on the tote board change.

Look into it. you may find use for it.

good luck

The problem with that is when a 25-1 shot stumbles in the reward of $100 is small consolation when on the other hand a larger fixed betting amount sets you up for a score!

that is very true
