View Full Version : 70% Winning Live Toteboard Spot Plays For Tuesday 2-5-08

These selctions are derived from the live toteboard action that I monitor and will win on the average 70% of the time and return 25%-30% winning ROI. These selections however are mostly chalky. The recommended way to wager on these selections is to Win Only !! I personally flat wager the same amount on all the selections. These selections will generally win with ease.

There will be at times a long wait for a selection to become a qualified play and be posted, (sometimes an hour or two) so patience is a big part of this highly selective play.

Things have also been slow for my True Favorites. For the month of February thus far in 5 days I've had 3 plays:

Feb 1 FG R9 #6 3.60 2.80 2.10
Feb 3 PHA R6 #3 3.00 2.40 2.10
Feb 5 PM R10 #6 4.60 2.60 2.10

Our approach to short priced plays are different in that you use the Tote and I use data from TwinSpires. My selections will invariably go off as the odds on favorite. The longest run out in 5 months has been one coupled with a win % of 80 and a place % of 91.5.

The only negative is there are not many plays averaging 14 per month from handicapping 20 tracks per day.

Anderon, I'm going to make one suggestion. Consider pulling the "70% winning" part from your thread titles, and your lead-in paragraph. Because let's face it, you aren't hitting anything close to 70%. If it involved a run of 2nd-itis, well maybe those things happen, but your horses are running 3rd or worse at way too high of a clip. So, in the interests of not misleading others, perhaps you could name your threads a bit more appropriately.

Anderon,

Just go back to your practice of a running total including the current ROI from the start of this experiment. Dropping that when things are going badly is bad form.

Anderon,
This was a killer for you. I feel for you. Get off the dumb-ass favorite bent and get back to picking prices.
