Is this guy that stupid or does he have too much time on his hands?
How ridiculous can a senator be?

Specter wants to meet with N.F.L. Commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss why the league destroyed all evidence of the Patriots (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/sports/profootball/nationalfootballleague/newenglandpatriots/index.html?inline=nyt-org)’ videotaping incident in the season opener against the Jets (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/sports/profootball/nationalfootballleague/newyorkjets/index.html?inline=nyt-org).

Couldn’t agree more Tom…just a pathetic use of our tax dollars and resources.

Although I would like Congress to investigate the 1935 World Series when I think the Tigers were stealing the Cubs signs! :faint: :D

But not democrats, huh?
Get real.

Hilllary just tried to spend a million bucks on a Woodstock Memorial.....great use of our money.

Try to think objectively.

There have been rumors for years that certain Senators want to hammer the NFL for being a Monopoly. They are a Monopoly, but most of the Senators who have spoken about problems with the NFL are the ones who don't have a team in their states. Therefore.........nothing will ever be done. Major League Baseball has an exemption from Congress...........the NFL doesn't.

Arlen Spector hasn't been worth a damn for years..................he barely got relected and he may be searching for a legacy
