This is a list of the 49 handicappers who competed in both the HWS and the NHC and where they finished in both contests. There was a Ronald Williams playing in both contests but they are not the same person. Only one contestant finished in the top 30 at the NHC and five finished in the top 80 at the HWS. If I have omitted someone please add their name(s) to this thread.

I hear ya CM, hat’s off to those that tried though. There are some GREAT players on that list. Having never really played in a contest I can only imagine trying to juggle both.

The visual would probably go something like this…

This guy does the bet of the day on HPI and really stinks. Predictable: horses changing barns and usually on the lawn.

Gutfreund stinks ?? I don't think so. He's possibly one of the best handicappers around.

He has not shown that in the context of where I see his typical (recent claim, closers) type choices. He has shown next to zero understanding of some race courses that his picks on HPI (Woodbine) promote....

Whatever his P.R. is, that has not been shown on his published choices on HPI.
