I've lost track of everyone who's asked this question, so I'm posting the information here as part of an effort to distribute the information as broadly as possible.
Since the Autotote contest is scheduled to take place before Tour sign-ups start on 2/15, contestants will be given the opportunity to sign something indicating that they are planning to sign up for the Tour. Anyone who signs and finishes in the top 20 will be awarded points in accordance with a breakdown that will be available on the NTRA site very soon.
Also, for the 2/2 Canterbury and 2/9 Lone Star contests, both of which are preliminary type contests where you can qualify for a final event which awards NHC spots, the fact that the preliminary rounds are taking place before 2/15 will not have any impact on the Tour points which are earned in the finals.
