# of Winning Tickets

I know for a fact that on a recent P4 there were only 3 winning tickets of equal denomination. If the take is 25% and the pool was $100K isn't that $75k divided by three minus taxes?

So 25k per ticket. Why, what was the payoff ?

Each person would collect $25,000. It wouldn't necessarily show as a $25,000 mutuel. For example, if the payoff was based on $2, and they all had $1 tickets, the mutuel would be $50,000.
