There looks like there should be a legitimate pace in this 1 mile turf event, so I’m going to look for someone who can stay within striking distance before delivering a winning move late.
Bad Boy (8) can do exactly that, and is my top pick in this competitive affair. He has been facing slightly better, has enough speed to stay close, and a repeat of either his last two should be good enough. Mr. Wolverine (11) is another versatile sort, with 2 turf sprints to tune him up for this. He broke his maiden here at Santa Anita at this mile trip, in good time. There are several in here who can fill out the tri, including Their He Goes (2), who has been working well and should move forward for this, Deadshot Keen (9) and Chancellor (10) , either of who could close well at a price, and finally Forestry’s Fire (14) another who is stretching out and will have to overcome the outside post.
