Several scratches including the morning line favorite have changed the completion of this race overnight. Much of the early speed is now gone, and that should suit Norway House (4) just fine. He just missed versus similar in his last start in a race that was fast for the level. The softer pressure up front, won’t help closer Iron Duke (2), but he should appreciate the drop in class. He is 2/3 at this distance and has won over the AW. Much of the above also holds true for Dixie Music Roll (5), who should appreciate the extra 1/16 th of a mile, and with a cleaner trip than last time, should close for at least a piece. Give Will (7) at least a second look, and a mention at the bottom of your exotic tickets. I’m betting against the favorite Quasimodo (10). I respect trainer Wesley Ward, who is wheeling this one back in less than a week, but the huge class drop 2nd off the claim is scaring me.
