Greetings,

I am looking for the book Investing at the racetrack that i believe was published in the 80's. I used to own a copy but misplaced it a few years ago.

What I am interested in is the breakdown of the daily results of the tracks featured in the book. For example

Total wagered and total profit/loss for each day seperately

Belmont park july 8 $??? invested ???profit.

My reason for this inquiry is to prove a point to a horseplayer friend.

Thank you in advance if anyone has this info

Sincerely Zappi

Believe it or not, you probably could find it at the NY Public Library.

Check here and see

Thanks Jim,

I checked my local libraries with no success actually the closest library was in Atlanta Georgia.

Will keep trying and thanks for the good suggestion

Your profile says you are in New York, that is what threw me off. I will look to see if I have it when I get home.

This was the first book that I ever read on horse racing. I was young and stupid (now I'm old and stupid) and did about a 50 race sample (how's that for statistical validation) with the Racing Form and came away convinced that this was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

It was the first of many lessons in humility in this wonderful game of thoroughbred speculation.
