I believe I've played one in my day and it's not my cup o' tea. They apparently have an appeal for many.

'06 sales were 13Bil - '07 sales were 17Bil and '08 expects to bring a 20+% increase. The industry is beginning to dwarf the movie business in annual sales.

In console sales, The Wii, far outperfomed PS3, which I gather is surprising. What's DS?
