Check out the 8 horse in the second race. On the 1st he races in an allowance and gets the led and then fades hard. The run him the 8th in a claimer and he stops and is eased. Now they are dropping him two classes and are bringing him right back. He will be alone on the lead but I am clueless as to the trainer pattern here unless they are seriously trying to dump the horse.

Any and all thoughts please.

Haven't seen the PP's but based on everything you said and the fact that he's the 9/5 M/L fave, I'd toss him.

Top trainer and jock. Should be all alone on lead but will probably be 4/5. Pass!

I have to agree on the pass unless he looks really great. It is too bad. Every race he was left alone on the lead he faded to second. My type of horse-:).

I do love exotics.

They havent been right yet...the allowance move may have been a bit ambitious, the next move might have given more. Sinking like a lead weight, who knows where the bottom is.

Trainer has a 31% win mark with a profitable 1.04 ROI dropping horses. Also has an amazing 50% mark in wheeling a horse right back like this.

Leave the horse out at your own risk!

You actually make a good point, but there is no stat with what happens DROPPING THE SAME HORSE. That would be an interesting stat.

Gets passed inside the final eighth by the longest shot on the board (49-1) while finishing three clear of the show horse; looks like an animal that will find a way to lose.
